Chihuahua? Dachshund? Pug?
We’ve got them all covered.

Each Furria wheelchair is carefully adjusted to your dog’s height, width, weight and walking ability. Whether it's post-surgery recovery or a long-term condition, we’re here to help.

6-way adjustability for a perfect fit:

Our frame adjusts in six directions: height, length, width — all fully customizable to your dog’s body. Whether you have a Chihuahua, a Mini Poodle, or a Dachshund, you’ll get a snug, secure fit that promotes balance, mobility, and confidence.

Small breed design. Big impact.

We don’t shrink a large dog wheelchair and call it “small.” We engineered this from scratch to meet the specific anatomy and behavior of tiny dogs. Lightweight, low to the ground, and easy to maneuver — every detail is tuned to the needs of small dogs.

Proper fit starts with proper measurements. Each Furria wheelchair comes with a frame, harnesses, and belly belt sized to work together — so measuring your dog correctly is key.

Measure length from the middle of the hip to the middle of the shoulder, and height from the base of the front paw to mid-shoulder. These dimensions correspond to the frame's adjustable size range (e.g., 30–50 cm), ensuring a custom, secure fit for every dog.

Small breeds are especially vulnerable:

Once mobility issues appear, their muscles weaken rapidly, and their mood and overall health follow. What starts as a limp can turn into full-body stress — physically and emotionally. Conditions like IVDD, arthritis, hip dysplasia, or rear leg paralysis often make walking painful or impossible for small dogs. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

That’s exactly why we created a wheelchair tailored to the unique anatomy and medical needs of small breeds — helping them move freely again, no matter the diagnosis.

Real solution for small breeds

We Move Dogs
And Numbers Show It

More and more pet parents are choosing Furria — not just for the features, but for the real-life results. With over 1,820 units sold in the UK this year alone, our wheelchairs help dogs get back on their paws with comfort, balance, and confidence. Every frame is designed to move with your dog, not against them.

What Other Brands Won’t Tell You — And Why It Matters for Your Dog’s Health.

Harsh Harnesses Can Harm Your Dog’s Chest and Skin

Many wheelchairs use stiff or poorly padded harnesses that dig into a dog’s chest or armpits. Over time, this can cause skin irritation, hair loss, and even bruising — especially for small or fragile dogs.

I've seen cases where the harness caused more harm than the disability itself. A soft, well-fitted harness is essential — not optional.

Lack of Rear Leg Support Can Damage Spine and Hips

Some carts provide no support for the back legs, forcing them to drag or hang awkwardly. This puts strain on the spine and hips and may cause further injury or anxiety during use.

Poor Fit Means Misalignment, Discomfort, and Fatigue

Every dog has different proportions — but many carts don’t allow full adjustments. A poor fit can cause joint misalignment, uneven pressure, and increased fatigue during walks.

Heavy Frames Weigh Down Small Dogs and Limit Movement

Heavy frames can slow a dog down or make movement feel unnatural. For smaller breeds, excess weight can lead to stress on the shoulders and even discourage walking altogether.

And if something isn’t quite right — we’ve got your back. Furria offers easy returns, lifetime customer support, and fast, free shipping to make sure both you and your dog feel confident from day one. Because great design is only part of the promise — the rest is how we treat you.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Using their rear legs while in the wheelchair helps your dog maintain muscle strength, stay active, and feel more independent. If your pup has paralyzed legs, you can use the included stirrups to safely keep their legs off the ground and prevent any dragging.

Every dog is different, but most adjust quickly with gentle encouragement. Start with short sessions in a familiar environment. Offer treats, praise, and stay calm. Let your dog explore at their own pace — many pups surprise their humans by walking confidently after just a few minutes!

Yes! Our wheelchairs are lightweight and maneuverable enough for indoor use. Just be sure your space is clear of narrow hallways or slippery floors — rugs or mats can help with traction.

Absolutely — the wheelchair is designed to allow your dog to relieve themselves comfortably while using it. The open rear area keeps everything unobstructed, so your pup can go potty without stress or mess.
